Am Umfang jedes Gewächshauses wurde eine 70 cm dicke Stahlbetonwand errichtet, die sowohl als Schneckenschutz ( Eindringen von Tieren) und als Widerstand des Gewächshauses selbst, aus dem aufgrund des Konstruktionssystems jede Art von Kunststoff oder anderes widerstandsfähigeres Material eingesetzt werden kann. Über jeder Wand befindet sich ein in den Beton eingelassenes Ondulin, das durch die gewellten Stützstangen im Gewächshaus selbst befestigt wird und verhindert, dass große Tiere das Gewächshaus überschreiten.
Die Gewächshäuser sind mit Doppelfenstern ausgestattet und ermöglichen so den Anbau in jedem Monat des Jahres.
