At the foot of Mount Limbara on the southern slope lies the town of Berchidda, famous for its wine and the annual international jazz music festival (Time in Jazz). The Gallurese granite rocks that envelop the town and the nearby Lake Coghinas offer excellent cues for nature lovers and hiking.
