The prestigious villa was built in 1780 by the Beretta family, who later sold it to Domenico Pino, an Italian general under the orders of Napoleon Bonaparte. There were various passages, first to the Counts Fontana of Milan, then to the Biscaretti of Ruffia, and finally to Emilio Treves publisher of Milan, whose name it still bears today.
Thanks to its interest in culture, the villa became a meeting place for the intellectuals of the time. In fact, it was frequented by Gabriele D'Annunzio, Edmondo De Amicis, Giovanni Verga and many others.
THE GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor of the period villa is divided into two main areas: the representation area and the informal area. The representative area has a large hall overlooking the lake, a living room and a large dining room. IL PIANO TERRENO
Il piano terra della villa d'epoca, si divide in due zone principali: quella di rappresentanza e quella informale. La zona di rappresentanza ha un grande salone che si affaccia sul lago, un soggiorno ed un’ampia sala da pranzo. La zona informale è composta dal soggiorno, la sala da pranzo, la cucina, un bagno per disabili ed altro bagno. Quest’area accede sul giardino con la piscina. L’ascensore serve i primi tre piani.

Il primo piano è dedicato alla zona notte, dispone di una suite dotata di un grande salone, cucina, camera da letto, cabina armadio e bagno.

DAS ERDGESCHOSS
Das Erdgeschoss der historischen Villa ist in zwei Hauptbereiche unterteilt: den repräsentativen und den informellen Bereich. Der repräsentative Bereich hat eine große Halle mit Blick auf den See, ein Wohnzimmer und ein großes Esszimmer. Der informelle Bereich besteht aus dem Wohnzimmer, dem Esszimmer, der Küche, einem Badezimmer für Behinderte und einem weiteren Badezimmer. Dieser Bereich öffnet sich auf den Garten mit dem Schwimmbad. Der Aufzug bedient die ersten drei Etagen.
DIE ERSTE ETAGE
Die erste Etage ist dem Schlafbereich gewidmet und verfügt über eine Suite mit großem Wohnzimmer, Küche, Schlafzimmer, begehbarem Kleiderschrank und Bad.
Weiter geht es mit vier Schlafzimmern, von denen drei über ein eigenes Bad und begehbare Kleiderschränke verfügen.
