L'attuale, preciso e autorizzato Progetto Architettonico attento agli originali elementi quali il sasso di Moltrasio si presenta al rustico in particolare per le parti interne e prevede l'abitazione disposta su due livelli. Il Progetto è ben definito anche negli spazi esterni, con una parte in sasso lasciata ai sapori originari che ospiterà la zona notte e una parte molto moderna a vetrate che ospiterà la grande zona giorno. Al piano giardino fanno mostra di sé l'ampio soggiorno a vetrate verso il panorama del lago e le capriate a vista, la cucina affacciata sul soggiorno, il bagno ospiti e due camere con il bagno in suite. La terza camera con il suo bagno occupano il piano seminterrato. Il costo per terminare la casa sono stimati in circa 500.000,00 euro.
Nel tempo questa particolare e unica dimora ha ispirato diverse citazioni storiche a penna dell’erudito comasco Paolo Giovio nella sua opera Paulii Iovii Descriptio Larii Lacus, redatta nel 1537 e pubblicata a Venezia nel 1559: «Poco sopra Cernobbio sulle dolci falde dell’altissimo monte Bisbino, si vedono Piazza, Rovenna, Toldino, che godono di messi scarse ma di eccellente qualità di grano».
E ancora nel 1795 scriveva Giambattista Giovio nella sua opera Como e il Lario: "Vi si raccoglie frumento di grani sì belli e grossi, che volentieri cuocesi in minestra alla foggia del farre e dell’orzo".
