The house is situated in Casarola di Monchio delle Corti, 1000 m above the sea level, the place that inspired the famous poet Attilio Bertolucci and that was the film set of “Novecento” directed by his son Bernardo. It is immersed in the Tuscan-Emilian Appennine National Park (www.parcoappennino.it) in the UNESCO MaB reserve and in the wonderful landscape of the Parco dei Cento Laghi (www.parchidelducato.it). It is also an area rich with food excellences as Parmigiano-Reggiano DOP (parmesan) and the Parma ham DOP.
Its peculiar location offers the possibility to immerse yourself in the peaceful uncontaminated nature and to practice Summer sports such as trekking, fishing and horse riding or Winter sports such as skiing and trekking with snowshoes. Furthermore the proximity to the most famous beaches of the coast on the Ligurian sea and the Thyrrenian sea could give you a wonderful seaside experience.

The house was built in 1980 and restored in 2014. It includes a dwelling on the ground floor and a basement used as cellar-laundry. It was built with stonework structures and walls, tiled roof, ceramic floors, wooden fixtures and double-glazed windows, painted and equipped with independent heating and possibility to use pellet stoves and fireplace. Outside you find 2 courtyards, a porch with terrace and a vegetable garden.
