The towns of Amantea and Paola are a 15 minute drive in each direction and as well as offering year round facilities and activities host a number of festivals and markets. They are both busy towns with all the modern amenities: variety of shops and boutiques, café bars, restaurants/pizzeria, gelatarias, pharmacies, post office etc. this blends well with the charming old historical centre where you can meander through the traditional narrow streets and enjoy the true feel of Calabria.
