Villa Franchi is situated in an old hilly hamlet, Poggio Morello, surrounded by the lush hills of the province of Teramo. It takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the Adriatic coast while other interesting historic hamlet are few minutes away: Sant’Omero, Mosciano Sant’Angelo, Giulianova Paese, Montone etc.
From the dwelling you can enjoy a wonderful view that goes from the hills to the sea.
The house includes three floors. On the ground floor you find a wide rustic living room with fireplace, a garage with small cellar, a bedroom and a bathroom. The raised ground floor includes a kitchen with fireplace, a large lounge with balcony, two bedrooms with balcony and the main bathroom.
Villa Franchi is named after its last buyer, the famous Italian cyclist Franco Franchi, that ran countless races next to other champions like Coppi, Bartali and Magni.
The house boasts a wide garden with tall trees, a beautiful stone fountain for fishes and a lush ivy shed. The atmosphere is almost magic.
From the balcony facing East, you will invigorate your spirit with the breathtaking panorama on the hills.
The house was inhabited till 2012, but it still needs some restoration work, even if there are perfectly functioning systems.
