Next to the cottage we have a forty square meter annex containing  a living room complete with a kitchen , bathroom with a shover and a utility room. It is situated at 200 km from the Roman airport of Fiumicino. Only 20 km from the administrative center of Teramo, just next to the Gran Sasso d'Italia National Park and Monti della Laga (the highest mountain of Central and South Italy). With only 40 minutes, of which 20 km you can drive on a freeway, you reach the beach of Giulianova Lido. You can also reach Prati di Tivo (Gran Sasso d'Italia), in 45 minutes if you like winter sports. The name of community is Pagliaroli which is part of Cortino (970 meters above sea level). It is a mountain plateau measuring 2 km by 0,4 km surrounded by forests. It is exciting to see the mountains and the sea from your windows. Pagliaroli has a small market, a restaurant with rooms, two farm holidays a nineteenth century stone roman catholic churc, a school, a part time chemist and the municipality of Cortino.
