I DUE AIRONI (the two herons) is a winery, situated in a small hilly panoramic valley (200 metres above the sea level), 2 km from Castello di Serravalle in the municipality of Valsamoggia, about 15 km from the new toll booth of Valsamoggia of the A1, 25 minutes from Bologna and Modena.
18,5 private hectares and 3,5 rented, with 11,5 hectares of vineyard, two lakes, 7000 sqm of cherry grove and about 5 hectares of forest. It produces wine DOCG Classico – DOC Colli Bolognesi with its own grapes; wine and bottles have our own brand: I DUE AIRONI (www.idueaironi.it). Currently the production is reduced for the health of the owner, but it can reach about 80000 bottles/year with its own grapes and 250000 with grapes bought in the surrounding area.
The cellar (built in 2009) is about 900 sqm; it is completely equipped for the production, bottling and labeling of wines, also sparkling ones, with isobaric bottling machine (about 1000 bottles per hour). It includes an apartment (90 sqm), a mini-apartment (60 sqm), a sale point (20 sqm) and a terrace (100 sqm) that can be covered. The company has water (water main), phone, ADSL, electricity, gas and all the services.
If requested, manor farmstead (two apartments on two floors for about 380 sqm),a half is restored and the other is rough; a guesthouse of two floors for about 50 sqm overlooking a swimming pool of 72 sqm, garage and park for about 2000 sqm.
